Second-year wideout Terrace Marshall made arguably one of the wildest catches of the 2022 season on Sunday, securing a reception with his legs during the Carolina Panthers Week 14 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.

With 6:30 left in the third quarter, a Sam Darnold pass intended for Marshall appeared to slip through the receiver's hands incomplete.
Only the football didn't hit the turf, instead ending up between Marshall's legs. In a display of remarkable awareness, Marshall held onto the catch with his powerful thighs, rolling around in a ball several times before securing the football with his hands for an 18-yard gain.
Marshall's insane play was somehow ruled a catch on the field by officials, much to the dismay of Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll, who immediately threw the red challenge flag. Though, after an official review, the call on the field stood.
Call on the field stands. Helluva catch by Terrace Marshall. The 18-yard gain is the Panthers' longest play of the day. First down at the 50.

The Panthers ultimately won the game, upsetting the Seahawks 30-24 to improve to 5-8. Marshall's ridiculous grab was his only catch of the day.
The Panthers selected Marshall with a second-round pick in 2021 out of LSU. Marshall played 13 games for the Panthers his rookie year, recording 17 catches for 138 yards.
This year, the 22-year-old has already topped his totals from last year, entering Week 14 averaging 18.2 yards per catch with 18 receptions for 328 yards and a touchdown over nine games.
